Senior IT Project Manager – Cloud, AI & M365

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and coordinate multiple complex IT projects from initiation through implementation
• ▹Develop project charters, plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, milestones and delivery strategies
• ▹Manage project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and governance
• ▹Lead cloud, M365, AI and infrastructure initiatives
• ▹Identify, analyze and manage risks on large and complex projects
• ▹Coordinate business requirements, solution delivery, implementation and project documentation
• ▹Manage relationships with project sponsors, technical teams, vendors and senior stakeholders
• ▹Present status reports, recommendations and risks to leadership and steering committees
• ▹Lead stakeholder meetings and facilitate decision-making across business and technical teams
• ▹Support change management, communications, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation readiness
• ▹Ensure solutions reflect applicable security controls, policies and architecture requirements
• ▹Support continuous improvement, lessons learned and project closeout

Requirements

• ▹PMP certification
• ▹Minimum 10 years of experience developing and managing project schedules
• ▹Minimum 10 years of experience identifying, analyzing and managing risks on large, complex projects
• ▹Minimum 5 years of experience implementing large-scale cloud-based projects and services
• ▹Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure environments (hardware, software, applications, cloud platforms, enterprise architectures)
• ▹Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work with technical teams and senior stakeholders

• ▹10+ years developing and delivering complex IT projects
• ▹7+ years working with organizational policies, processes and procedures and their impact on technology initiatives
• ▹5+ years leading stakeholder meetings at multiple organizational levels
• ▹5+ years leading large projects and programs using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• ▹5+ years working with security controls within project solutions
• ▹5+ years of process improvement, documentation and requirements gathering
• ▹Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
• ▹2+ years implementing AI projects or solutions
• ▹7+ years within a public-sector environment

Soft skills
