Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, high-performance web applications as a fullstack expert
• ▹Develop internal digital solutions that drive automation and support the long-term digitalization strategy, including agentic AI use cases for autonomous, intelligent systems
• ▹Mentor medior and junior developers, perform code reviews, help define development standards
• ▹Make architectural decisions across backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React, Angular or similar)
• ▹Ensure seamless deployment and operations in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
• ▹Take initiative in adopting and integrating AI-enhanced tools, from code copilots to advanced automation frameworks, to increase productivity and innovation
• ▹Optionally contribute UX knowledge to help design intuitive, efficient interfaces

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economical Informatics, Information Technology or Programming Mathematics, or equivalent working experience
• ▹5+ years of experience in web application development
• ▹Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Framework/Boot, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate
• ▹Angular (TypeScript) and/or React knowledge
• ▹Knowledge of SQL and SQL extensions (e.g. PL/SQL or T-SQL)
• ▹Docker and/or Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with agile methodologies
• ▹Logical and systems thinking

Nice to have

• ▹NoSQL & NewSQL experience, e.g. MongoDB
• ▹Experience operating your own developed code in production
