Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain backend applications and microservices
• ▹Deliver new features and enhance existing systems
• ▹Deploy software to production environments and ensure reliability
• ▹Improve application performance, security and scalability
• ▹Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, designers and Product Managers
• ▹Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation
• ▹Share knowledge and support team development

Requirements

• ▹Around 5 years of commercial software development experience
• ▹Strong Java development experience
• ▹Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
• ▹Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and REST APIs
• ▹Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent)
• ▹Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, Confluence and CI/CD practices
• ▹Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• ▹English proficiency at B2/C1 level or higher
