Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and execute test plans for backend services, APIs and data workflows
• ▹Maintain regression, integration and performance testing across environments
• ▹Collaborate with engineers to reproduce, document and resolve issues
• ▹Track defects and quality tasks in JIRA through to resolution
• ▹Help introduce and improve lightweight test automation where it adds real value
• ▹Validate front-end user flows and data integrations
• ▹Define quality metrics and contribute to release-readiness reporting
• ▹Support build verification in containerized environments (Docker / Azure)
• ▹Create early QA documentation, templates and standards for future releases

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of experience testing backend or API-driven applications
• ▹Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Pytest or similar)
• ▹Familiarity with Python-based environments (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy)
• ▹Solid understanding of SQL databases and data validation
• ▹Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerized systems (Docker)
• ▹Strong documentation and communication skills
• ▹Comfortable working in distributed, async teams (JIRA, Confluence, Git)
• ▹Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership

• ▹Experience with financial, analytical or data-intensive products
