As a Lead Software Engineer , you will serve as a technical authority across entire business domains, shaping company-wide engineering strategy and driving the architectural evolution of large-scale distributed systems that power our core platform for tens of millions of customers. You’ll be Responsible for Architectural Leadership: Defining long-term technical vision and architecture roadmaps across business area, balancing immediate business goals with long-term system sustainability. Strategic Alignment: Partnering with Leaders to translate team business strategy into scalable engineering systems and technical bets. Engineering Excellence: Setting and raising the technical bar for the entire engineering organization through systemic improvements, architectural reviews, and best-practice frameworks. High-Impact Execution: Hands-on leadership in designing, prototyping, and executing on the most complex, high-risk, or foundational systems in the company. Mentorship & Talent Growth: Mentoring engineers Cross-Organizational Resilience: Establishing team practices for observability, failure domain isolation, disaster recovery, and incident resolution for critical systems What We're Looking For Someone Who Has Extensive Experience: 8+ years of experience engineering complex digital products Domain-Scale Expertise: Mastery of distributed systems design, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and failure-mode analysis in systems handling high concurrency and millions of active users. Cross-Team Influence: Demonstrated history of steering large-scale technical initiatives, aligning competing priorities across multiple engineering teams.
