Senior Solutions Engineer - F5 Distributed Cloud

Responsibilities

• ▹Articulate F5 product strategy and position the F5 Distributed Cloud value proposition against customer business objectives
• ▹Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations and proofs of concept (in person, virtual, whiteboarding)
• ▹Determine the viability of opportunities and map out the organizational structure
• ▹Drive the sales process with the account team by identifying the technical decision maker and getting their validation, support and sponsorship
• ▹Provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle
• ▹Collaborate with internal technical and sales resources and share best practices

Requirements

• ▹10+ years of related industry experience
• ▹BS/BA or equivalent work experience
• ▹Experience in secure cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, GCP or other public clouds
• ▹CI/CD experience (automating build and test pipelines with GitOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• ▹Experience with multi-cloud design
• ▹Experience with cloud instrumentation and configuration management tools such as GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible
• ▹Experience with application-related products such as DNS, load balancers, web application firewalls, API security and CDNs
• ▹Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog and Grafana
• ▹Software development experience in Go, Python, Ruby and scripting languages
• ▹Expertise in solution design for large-scale environments
• ▹Advanced knowledge of vertical market solutions
• ▹Expert communication, presentation and account management skills
• ▹Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience leading initiatives
