Senior/Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Deploy, configure and operationalize agentic AI workflows, AI assistants and automations in client ServiceNow environments and enterprise systems
• ▹Translate business requirements and processes into technical architectures, implementation plans and production-ready AI solutions
• ▹Implement and integrate NewRocket Agent Packs, AI accelerators and workflow solutions
• ▹Support workshops, discovery and technical sessions, demonstrations, pilots and production rollouts
• ▹Build enterprise AI applications using Claude, the Anthropic API and other LLM platforms
• ▹Prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, tool use/function calling, multi-step orchestration, human-in-the-loop patterns
• ▹Build RAG solutions grounded in authorized enterprise data
• ▹Reliability techniques: source grounding, validation, confidence thresholds, output schemas, fallback handling and escalation workflows
• ▹Build demos, prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations
• ▹Evaluate when an agentic approach is appropriate versus deterministic automation, search or human review
• ▹Develop secure integrations between ServiceNow, enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms and AI services
• ▹Build supporting components: scripts, microservices, automation logic, integration services, lightweight user interfaces
• ▹Evaluate AI applications: test cases, representative datasets, success metrics, regression testing
• ▹Implement safeguards for sensitive data, role-based permissions, prompt injection risks and unintended model behavior
• ▹Contribute to NewRocket's AI platforms: Intelligence Platform, Value Realization Dashboard, Data Intelligence Platform, Agent Packs
• ▹Diagnose and resolve issues across AI workflows, integrations and data connections
• ▹Work with business process consultants, product engineers, data engineers, AI/ML engineers and ServiceNow teams

Requirements

• ▹Strong engineering skills and experience in full-stack development and enterprise integration
• ▹Hands-on experience with modern LLM engineering practices (prompt and context engineering, RAG, tool use, structured outputs, agentic workflows, evaluation, responsible AI)
• ▹Sound practice in authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, error handling and version control
• ▹Ability to clearly communicate AI capabilities, limitations and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders
• ▹Sound judgment on responsible AI deployment and ability to operate in fast-moving customer environments
