Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and implement high-priority, complex full-stack product features end to end, built for long-term scalability
• ▹Execute the modernization roadmap by safely rewriting and decoupling legacy monolithic code into modern architectural patterns while maintaining production stability
• ▹Lead the adoption and mastery of AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code and establish automated development workflows
• ▹Ensure excellent codebase quality, reliability and security ratings by passing defined quality gates
• ▹Provide rigorous, constructive and timely code reviews: four-hour pick-up time and two-hour completion time during business hours
• ▹Drive sprint predictability with accurate technical scoping: 80 percent or higher sprint completion rate and rollover below 20 percent
• ▹Conduct advanced troubleshooting to optimize platform performance, supporting a team uptime goal of 99.98 percent
• ▹Facilitate twelve technical knowledge sharing or training sessions annually on refactoring, AI prompt engineering and modern full-stack PHP and Vue.js patterns

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, with deep expertise in PHP, object-oriented programming, design patterns and modern framework adoption
• ▹Strong front-end capabilities with Vue.js, Angular or React
• ▹Proven track record designing RESTful APIs, establishing integration standards and building reusable service patterns
• ▹Advanced database engineering experience with MySQL, including SQL optimization and data governance
• ▹Deep understanding of DevOps and quality engineering, including unit and integration testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Mastery of AI-enhanced development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Tabnine or CodeWhisperer to cut personal coding cycle times by 20 to 30 percent
• ▹Experience mentoring, coaching and developing mid-level and junior engineers
• ▹Exceptional ownership and the ability to self-direct high-priority projects

• ▹Experience defining cloud architecture strategy and infrastructure standards across AWS, GCP or Azure
• ▹Strong organization and planning skills, prioritizing high-impact technical initiatives
