AI Tech Lead - GraphAware Hume

Responsibilities

• ▹Design the foundations and technical roadmap of the AI layer within the Hume platform, focusing on Hume Maestro
• ▹Contribute hands-on to the codebase, setting the standard for performance and scalability in the AI components
• ▹Align technical execution with product vision within a shared decision-making structure alongside Product Managers and the Chief Scientist
• ▹Partner with front-end and platform engineers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into the user experience
• ▹Drive best practices in AI/ML engineering, including model evaluation, deployment pipelines and maintainable code structures
• ▹As the AI function expands, build and mentor a dedicated AI engineering team

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record as a Senior or Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• ▹Strong experience designing and deploying AI architectures, with a focus on LLMs, graph-based AI or complex data processing layers
• ▹Ability to bridge the gap between high-level research and vision and production-ready engineering
• ▹Experience working closely with Product and Science stakeholders to balance technical debt, innovation and delivery speed
• ▹A desire to eventually lead a team, with the communication skills to coordinate complex technical projects
