Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver software components and improvements for the team, including refactoring and deprecation work
• ▹Write clean, secure and well-tested code to solve business problems
• ▹Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of products across the business
• ▹Maintain and extend existing systems, build new features and improve observability
• ▹Drive medium-sized initiatives from technical refinement through release
• ▹Collaborate within the team and across the organization, including the PHP, Vue.js and Android Kotlin teams
• ▹Act as a full life cycle engineer: code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and release

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of professional full-stack development experience (TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js)
• ▹Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including error handling and caching
• ▹Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (MongoDB, MariaDB)
• ▹Basic cloud/infrastructure experience (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Heroku)
• ▹Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests, and a habit of testing your own work without being asked
• ▹Familiarity with observability, logging, metrics and debugging tools
• ▹Confident with Git workflows, branching and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions)
• ▹Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
• ▹Ability to work independently on medium-sized features from ticket to release
• ▹Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• ▹Working from the office at least 2-3 days a week
