DevOps Lead Engineer (m/f/d)

At UBIMET, you will play a key role in evolving our DevOps environment, driving automation, containerization, and modern deployment practices. You will work closely with development teams to improve our infrastructure, establish efficient processes, and ensure the reliability and scalability of the platforms behind our weather services. As a leading provider of meteorological services & solutions, UBIMET supports companies worldwide with highly accurate weather and climate data as well as intelligent decision-making tools. This enables our customers to make informed decisions, optimize operations, and successfully navigate the challenges of an increasingly dynamic and climate-conscious world — driving greater efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across industries. Your role — Lead and evolve our DevOps infrastructure Spearhead the migration of our current VM stack to containerized & orchestrated environments using technologies like Podman, Elastic and Kubernetes. Design, implement, and manage automation processes for our infrastructure to boost efficiency and reliability (GitOps). Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and security issues. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment of applications. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure effective knowledge sharing and compliance. Train the team around DevOps practices and methodology.
