Student Java Developer - Network Management Engineering

Software Engineer • On-site • Full-time Hungary Budapest, Hungary

Ericsson is looking for a Student Java Developer to join the Fault Management (FM) team within Network Management Engineering, working on network management, orchestration and automation products. The role covers the full software development lifecycle using a modern Java-based tech stack.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full software development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, integration, release, documentation
  • Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code
  • Test and document developed features
  • Handle bug reports for team-developed features
  • Work with Java/JEE, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/test tools

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Software Engineering, CS, EE or related field
  • Availability to work on-site at Ericsson for at least 6 consecutive months
  • Hands-on experience in development, testing and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, team spirit
  • Flexible attitude and clear quality focus
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Good written and spoken English
