Senior Backend Engineer, Golang

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop REST APIs for vehicle, route, and location data
• ▹Build secure webhook endpoints for external systems
• ▹Validate, normalize, and persist incoming events
• ▹Ensure idempotent, resilient webhook processing
• ▹Implement real-time vehicle updates (WebSockets, SSE)
• ▹Design PostgreSQL schemas for vehicles and events
• ▹Model geospatial data using PostGIS
• ▹Deploy and operate the backend on AWS

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience with Go backend development
• ▹Knowledge of PostgreSQL and PostGIS
• ▹Familiarity with AWS services (RDS, ECS/Fargate, Lambda)
• ▹Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure tooling
• ▹Ability to ramp up quickly and work independently
• ▹Clear communication of decisions and risks
