Staff Platform Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Maintain AWS infrastructure
• ▹Scalable and maintainable backend feature development (Python)
• ▹Scalable and maintainable API/SFTP integrations
• ▹Monitor and troubleshoot the Postgres DB (indexes, partitioning/sharding)
• ▹Maintain developer environments
• ▹Manage CI pipelines and runners
• ▹Set up and manage alerting systems
• ▹Provide on-call support and guidance to other developers

Requirements

• ▹Python/Django expertise (Django required)
• ▹Python + DB performance optimization
• ▹API/SFTP integrations experience
• ▹Feature development experience
• ▹Comfortable with AWS, maintaining EKS (Kubernetes on AWS)
• ▹Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Github Actions, AWS, Postgres, Redis
• ▹5+ years of professional software development experience
• ▹2+ years of professional SRE/DevOps experience
• ▹Experience maintaining/enhancing a Kubernetes cluster via IaC (Terraform preferred)
• ▹Strong RDBMS understanding (Postgres preferred)
• ▹In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS
