Senior/Staff AI Scientist (Polytope Bio)

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive core research strategy with the technical founder and team
• ▹Design and improve RL post-training methods using biological data
• ▹Build, run and debug model training infrastructure
• ▹Partner with the wet lab team on experiment design

Requirements

• ▹PhD in machine learning, computational biology or related field
• ▹1-2+ years of post-PhD research or industry experience
• ▹Experience training models from scratch, not just fine-tuning
• ▹Hands-on experience with diffusion models and/or transformer architectures
• ▹Familiarity with modern reinforcement learning
