Be part of change

  • Collaboration on the design of methods for the animation of 3D human avatars using Python and Pytorch
  • Capturing of training data using Motion Capture Systems
  • Setting up and evaluating experiments on machine learning model performance
  • Documenting results and contributing to scientific reports and presentations

What you contribute

  • Enrollment in a full-time degree program in computer sciene, maths, or a related field, ideally at the master’s level
  • Basic knowledge in at least one of the following areas: computer graphics, computer vision, or machine learning / neural networks
  • Programming experience in Python; knowledge of PyTorch is a plus
  • Experience or interest in 3D engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German is welcome
  • A structured, independent work style and a genuine interest in deep-tech research

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
