Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability
• ▹Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products
• ▹Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts
• ▹Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas: DB, integration, functional, UI/UX
• ▹Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed
• ▹Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues
• ▹Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing
• ▹Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
• ▹Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.)
• ▹Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG)
• ▹Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar
• ▹Strong RDBMS knowledge
• ▹Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• ▹A very good command of English

Nice to have

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
• ▹Experience with testing microservices and distributed systems
• ▹Experience in testing mobile applications
• ▹Experience with NoSQL DB
• ▹Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms
