Responsibilities

• ▹Design a highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage system
• ▹Develop middle- and back-office systems including gRPC microservices and a React-based internal admin UI
• ▹Collaborate with Alpaca's core teams to support multiple languages, currencies and markets
• ▹Collaborate with tech leads in other regions via Slack and meetings
• ▹Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity
• ▹Support regional recruitment initiatives and mentoring
• ▹Serve as operational reliability and incident commander during regional hours

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record designing and building scalable applications
• ▹Full-stack engineering experience
• ▹Ability to architect and implement solutions independently
• ▹Experience with gRPC microservices and React
• ▹Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across time zones
