Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the full stack, from the interface to the infrastructure, shipping complete, polished features end to end
• ▹Lead frontend architecture in React and TypeScript, setting the quality bar for components, state management and performance
• ▹API design and cloud infrastructure (AWS), including AI-powered features built on LLM APIs, prompt engineering and async pipelines
• ▹Be the engineering voice in customer conversations (about one customer call a week): interpret needs, translate feedback into scoped product decisions and follow through
• ▹Contribute to product direction and influence what is built and how
• ▹Use AI at every stage (reasoning, building, review, testing), reach for agentic solutions first and help raise the bar for the whole team
• ▹Stay current on what frontier models can do and bring it into what ships

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js
• ▹Strong backend experience: designing APIs, working with PostgreSQL, and managing background jobs and async workflows
• ▹Solid frontend skills with React
• ▹Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), comfortable with services like S3, media pipelines and deployment tooling
• ▹Experience building AI-driven applications (e.g. prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs; fine-tuning experience is a plus)
• ▹Can independently lead projects from concept to launch
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a keen eye for detail
• ▹Collaborative mindset, able to work autonomously in a small, fast-paced team

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with React Router v7 or Remix
• ▹Experience at a small, fast-moving SaaS company, client-facing
• ▹Exposure to market research or qualitative research tooling
• ▹Shipped agentic AI systems to production and can speak to failure modes, evaluations and tool design
