Senior Software Engineer - Application

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze requirements and RFCs, design efficient software architectures
• ▹Help determine the future direction of the satellite system (architecture, infrastructure, performance, test, reliability)
• ▹Document, design, develop, test and integrate software functionality in an Agile framework
• ▹Collaborate with a multi-functional Scrum team (software, firmware, embedded, application, test engineers)
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in deployed software solutions

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• ▹3+ years of industry experience in programming and software engineering
• ▹Hands-on experience with multi-threaded and multi-process applications on Linux, strong C++ knowledge
• ▹Object-oriented design and programming knowledge
• ▹Experience solving real-time embedded issues (threading, optimization, memory management, interrupt handling)
• ▹Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), sockets programming
• ▹3GPP standards, 5G architecture knowledge desired

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
• ▹Technical leadership and mentoring experience
