Quality Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Own quality architecture: frameworks, toolchain and roadmap toward agentic solutions
• ▹Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers
• ▹Maintain and evolve the test automation framework (Java/JS, Selenium, Playwright)
• ▹Co-design agentic QE workflows with engineering leaders, with human-in-the-loop governance
• ▹Build observability and reporting tooling (coverage dashboards, flakiness detection, CI quality gates)
• ▹Test AI-powered features (behavioral validation, non-deterministic regression)
• ▹Build internal tooling for the broader engineering organization

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in software engineering, AQE or SDET with a clear arc toward quality leadership
• ▹5+ years hands-on with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• ▹3+ years directly managing an AQE or engineering team
• ▹Strong automation architecture skills, not just test writing
• ▹Proven experience driving quality initiatives and leading teams through change
• ▹Experience building and shipping agentic testing systems in production
