QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Participate in testing and delivery of quality software
• ▹Manage the testing process through the project lifecycle
• ▹Design, implement and run middleware automated functional tests
• ▹Build optional front-end automated tests
• ▹Perform manual tests when needed
• ▹Run non-functional tests
• ▹Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• ▹Maintain test suites and frameworks

Requirements

• ▹Java and OOP knowledge
• ▹Background in REST API test automation
• ▹Knowledge of an API testing framework (e.g. Cucumber)
• ▹Knowledge of a build automation tool (Maven, Gradle)
• ▹Knowledge of relational/non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase)
• ▹Experience with version control (Git)
• ▹Basic Linux skills
• ▹User-level experience with Jira, Confluence

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of JMeter, Selenium
• ▹Docker and/or Kubernetes knowledge
• ▹Usage of Postman, Swagger
• ▹CI experience (Jenkins)
• ▹ISTQB Foundation Level
