Platform Engineer

About the Role This Platform Engineer role sits at the heart of an enterprise AI platform, responsible for the infrastructure that keeps deployments running securely and reliably across multiple customer cloud environments. You'll work closely with both product engineers and customer IT teams to enable scalable, compliant AI rollouts — making this a high-impact position in a fast-growing B2B AI company. What You'll Do Manage and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment. Deploy and maintain the platform across multiple customer cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Bicep. Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs across cloud environments. Ensure security and compliance standards are upheld across all deployment environments. Collaborate with Product Engineers to support the smooth rollout of new features. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues as they arise. Document deployment processes and maintain up-to-date runbooks for different environments. What We're Looking For 3+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on platform or infrastructure work. Experience deploying and operating enterprise platforms across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OpenShift. Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Azure Container Apps, and GitHub Actions. Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis in production environments. Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning automation using Terraform and Bicep. Experience with monitoring, observability, and cost optimization for cloud platforms. Strong CS fundamentals and a solid grasp of security best practices in cloud deployments. Native-level German or B2 proficiency — required for direct communication with customer IT teams. Clear, confident communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits Salary: €75,000 – €120,000 per year Visa sponsorship: Available Location On-site in Berlin, Germany .
