Responsibilities

• ▹Shape the roadmap with Technical Directors and engineering leads, assessing feasibility of AI and non-AI projects
• ▹Facilitate technical design discussions to resolve complex logic blockers
• ▹Distill business goals into detailed technical specifications and API boundary definitions
• ▹Identify and mitigate structural technical risks early
• ▹Lead external technical communications with partners and state educational agencies
• ▹Lead data interoperability discussions on secure integrations and standardized data pipelines
• ▹Enforce edtech data standards (e.g. QTI)
• ▹Align external vendor APIs with clear technical data mappings
• ▹Investigate backend system issues and perform root-cause analysis on production failures

Requirements

• ▹Software development project management background
• ▹Deep data literacy
• ▹Experience authoring technical specifications and API boundary definitions
• ▹Experience with system integrations and interoperability standards (e.g. QTI)
• ▹Experience with root-cause analysis on production failures
