Responsibilities

• ▹Shape the data architecture: define and evolve the enterprise-wide data architecture in line with the data strategy, with consistent, semantically clean data models along core business objects from sales, logistics, production and finance
• ▹Domain-oriented data modeling: structure the data landscape from a business and technical perspective, from the leading SAP ERP system through adjacent SAP and non-SAP platforms (CRM, WMS, MES, etc.) to analytical target architectures
• ▹Business-IT translation: turn business requirements from the business domains into sustainable, future-proof data and target architectures in close coordination with the IT teams for data engineering, data analysis and data stewardship
• ▹Technology and method assessment: evaluate new technologies and approaches (e.g. DataOps, API-oriented architectures, cloud platforms) in the context of structured and unstructured data (e.g. big data, IoT, AI)
• ▹Stakeholder management: advise and align with business and IT stakeholders and coordinate architectural guidelines across disciplines within IT

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience
• ▹Several years of professional experience in conceptual data architecture and modeling, ideally in complex, SAP-shaped enterprise landscapes
• ▹Solid experience in conceptual, logical and semantic data modeling and in developing and harmonizing SAP ERP data models with the data models of adjacent SAP and non-SAP platforms (CRM, WMS, MES, etc.)
• ▹Experience structuring and documenting business and technical architectures and confident use of UML and BPMN
• ▹Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working with the ability to grasp complex data landscapes holistically
• ▹Excellent communication and mediation skills toward technical and business stakeholders
• ▹Very good German and English for work in an international environment
• ▹Openness to hybrid work in cross-functional, international teams
