G2i is hiring a highly experienced (senior+) software engineer on a contract basis to evaluate the quality of interactions with modern AI coding agents such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code. This is not traditional engineering work - it's about assessing engineering taste and judgment, not syntactic correctness.

Responsibilities

▹Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end
▹Judge the usefulness and engineering quality of responses
▹Assess the quality of explanations and reasoning
▹Distinguish between different levels of response quality
▹Provide clear, opinionated feedback
▹Help define what a great interaction looks like

Requirements

▹Staff/Principal-level engineering experience
▹Strong TypeScript/JavaScript or Python background
▹Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor
▹Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted dev workflows
▹Comfortable giving direct, opinionated feedback

Nice to have

▹Experience with AI-first IDEs (e.g. Cursor)
▹Prior exposure to prompt design or evaluation workflows
▹Experience mentoring senior engineers, defining standards
