Responsibilities

• ▹Own the Kubernetes operator (control plane): CRDs, controllers, reconciliation, APIs, tests, releases
• ▹Customer onboarding: extend the control plane for networking, IAM, storage and cluster configuration
• ▹Production reliability and scale: observability, CI/CD, incident response
• ▹Participate in follow-the-sun on-call with the team

Requirements

• ▹Strong software engineering background, treating infrastructure as software
• ▹Deep Kubernetes experience with the operator pattern (CRDs, controller-runtime/kubebuilder/operator-sdk)
• ▹Proficiency in Go and ability to read/contribute to an async Rust codebase (or willingness to learn)
• ▹Solid AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu) experience, production-grade observability
• ▹Comfort being customer-adjacent, good English communication

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with high-throughput, time-series or analytical database systems
• ▹Background in data-intensive infrastructure
• ▹Interest in robotics, AR/VR, ML or simulation
