Responsibilities

• ▹estimate effort for software solutions
• ▹create software designs and code solutions in C and C++
• ▹work out optimization potential for existing software solutions
• ▹conduct source code reviews and developer testing
• ▹produce software documentation and test protocols
• ▹fix software defects according to incident and problem management processes
• ▹hold IT workshops and training sessions for customers and suppliers
• ▹implement and coordinate system adaptations
• ▹support commissioning remotely and/or on-site at international customers

Requirements

• ▹completed technical IT education
• ▹solid programming skills in C and C++
• ▹several years of experience in software development and object-oriented programming (C/C++) desired
• ▹understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• ▹good German and English skills

Nice to have

• ▹knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• ▹confident handling of Unix-based systems
