Tullverket is looking for a Method Manager to shape new ways of working

Method Manager (Metodansvarig) role at Tullverket, the Swedish Customs Agency, within its roughly 350-person IT department in Lulea. The role owns and continuously improves the agency's software development lifecycle (SDLC), establishes a new cross-functional method support network, and builds up a new method support function from the ground up, with broad freedom to shape its working methods, roles and routines.

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop and standardize the SDLC and related processes
  • Establish and lead a method support network within the IT department
  • Build up and further develop the method support function, including working methods, routines and team structure
  • Ensure the method is easy to understand, apply and communicate
  • Support method-related questions and their continuous improvement within the IT department
  • Drive training and information initiatives related to the method
  • Follow up on compliance, identify improvement areas and initiate changes

Requirements

  • Experience working with development methods, processes and quality within an IT department
  • Good understanding of SDLC and how modern IT organizations work, whether project-based, product-oriented or in hybrid models
  • Academic degree in IT or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer
