Responsibilities

• ▹Administer and support IBM Informix Dynamic Server and PostgreSQL databases remotely
• ▹Monitor database performance and execute performance tuning when necessary
• ▹Manage backups, restorations, and data recovery in supported environments
• ▹Resolve technical incidents and requirements reported during service delivery
• ▹Document procedures and solutions applied in database management
• ▹Handle requests within the 5x9 schedule (Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00), with extended or weekend support as needed
• ▹Coordinate effectively with the internal team and report progress periodically

Requirements

• ▹Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• ▹Proven experience administering and supporting IBM Informix Dynamic Server v12.10
• ▹Proven experience administering and supporting PostgreSQL v15.5
• ▹Solid knowledge of performance tuning and database optimization
• ▹Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
• ▹Experience resolving critical incidents
