Responsibilities

• ▹Capture, analyze and document business requirements related to data, reporting and analytics initiatives
• ▹Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• ▹Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization and feature clarification
• ▹Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers and business stakeholders on data requirements, KPI definitions and reporting needs
• ▹Analyze source systems, data flows and reporting processes to identify business and data requirements
• ▹Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirement clarification meetings
• ▹Contribute to functional specifications, process flows, data mapping and solution documentation

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data, BI, Analytics or Data Warehouse projects
• ▹Strong ability to gather, analyze and document business requirements
• ▹Experience working with Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, BI teams and business stakeholders
• ▹Experience analyzing database structures and understanding data relationships
• ▹Knowledge of database objects such as tables, views, procedures and functions
• ▹Understanding of data architectures, including OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts
• ▹Practical knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
• ▹Experience working with Power BI reports and dashboards
• ▹Knowledge of UML and BPMN

Nice to have

• ▹Experience using modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, draw.io or similar
• ▹Experience working with Snowflake
• ▹Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
• ▹Experience defining KPIs, metrics and reporting solutions
• ▹Previous experience as a Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner
• ▹Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework
• ▹Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
