Responsibilities

• ▹Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• ▹Design and develop backend and frontend features for the C2MS insurance platform using PHP, Laravel, Filament, and Vue.js
• ▹Build and maintain insurance-specific financial systems: premium billing, commission calculations, claims settlements, payment processing, reconciliation
• ▹Develop insurance accounting functionality: general ledger integration, AP/AR for premiums and claims, regulatory reporting (FCA, Lloyd's), multi-currency handling
• ▹Create and maintain automated underwriting rules, rating engines, and complex financial calculations
• ▹Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E automated tests with attention to financial accuracy
• ▹Collaborate with QA engineers, business analysts, and product owners
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities
• ▹Follow best practices for Git flows, CI/CD pipelines, and static code analysis
