Director, Engineering – AI Products

Responsibilities

• ▹Own and evolve core AI-focused product areas (Quote Agent, Product Studio, Submission Triage, intelligent content management)
• ▹Build and lead a 9-10 person team spanning ML, SWE, and data/analytics
• ▹Define the technical vision and architecture for the agentic platform
• ▹Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural oversight, and occasional hands-on contributions
• ▹Partner closely with Product, Design, and Delivery to align the engineering roadmap with business objectives
• ▹Act as a strategic technical partner to go-to-market stakeholders
• ▹Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth as the org scales

Requirements

• ▹10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record leading engineering organizations of 15-20+ people
• ▹Deep expertise in B2B enterprise SaaS, early-stage startup experience highly preferred
• ▹Strong background shipping and maintaining AI-powered products in production
• ▹Experience designing and deploying agentic systems, AI workflows, or LLM-powered applications at scale
• ▹Demonstrated leader and mentor able to build, manage, and empower multidisciplinary engineering teams
• ▹Exceptional communicator able to influence and align technical and business stakeholders
