Head of Platform (m/f/d) Berlin / Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Act as product owner for the Pitch distribution platform and marketing website
• ▹Manage the platform's strategy and vision through day-to-day roadmap execution
• ▹Define feature requirements for best-in-class user experience and efficient technical implementation
• ▹Interface with product management and team leads to ensure smooth exchange between the core app and the platform
• ▹Work with the marketing team on content, community and partner acquisition for the platform
• ▹Continuously evaluate feedback from users and team members to prioritize the backlog appropriately
• ▹Support on-site growth improvements such as platform virality, SEO, user acquisition flows and landing page optimization in alignment with marketing

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record building great products with strong technical understanding
• ▹Experience managing tasks, customer feedback and complex software projects
• ▹Entrepreneurial mindset, able to move fast without sacrificing quality, make decisions and motivate a team
• ▹Ability to communicate ambitious goals effectively while keeping the team motivated
• ▹Growth mindset: developing hypotheses, building and testing MVPs, with good command of marketing strategy including funnel optimization
• ▹Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, such as cold-start supply/demand problems, incentives, and building/moderating a community
