Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Understand business needs and identify related data requirements
• ▹Participate in technical pre-sales activities, effort estimation and proposal creation
• ▹Architect and plan robust data models and modern data platforms
• ▹Act as senior technical lead for cloud data solutions, focused on lakehouse architectures
• ▹Plan and lead testing activities
• ▹Lead and mentor project teams (3-6 members)

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of data engineering experience
• ▹Hands-on experience with Databricks/Snowflake/Azure/AWS-based data platforms
• ▹Proficiency in business logic assessment, proposal submission and time estimation
• ▹2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role on DWH/lakehouse migration or development projects
• ▹Consultancy background project experience
• ▹Customer-oriented approach
• ▹Strong communication skills and proactivity
• ▹Professional English and Hungarian, written and spoken
• ▹Problem-solving skills and creativity

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with legacy on-premise platforms (Oracle, MSSQL)
• ▹International project experience
