VP of Engineering - Foundational Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the reliability, scalability, and security of core infrastructure, including identity and authorization
• ▹Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and their teams across five platform teams
• ▹Set and maintain the technical vision and roadmap for the platform
• ▹Drive the Developer Experience agenda across the engineering organization
• ▹Champion agentic development practices and MLOps infrastructure for AI agents in production
• ▹Hold commercial accountability for platform decisions affecting velocity, cost, and margin
• ▹Collaborate with engineering leaders and communicate platform investment to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹Deep expertise in platform or infrastructure engineering, developer tooling, and cloud-native architectures
• ▹At least 15 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years managing managers
• ▹Proven technical leadership at Director, VP, or CTO level in a growth-oriented company
• ▹Experience with agentic AI systems in production
• ▹Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
