Senior Product Manager - Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the work and outcomes across ingest, querying, data retrieval, storage and the internal design system
• ▹Understand stakeholder needs across customers and internal teams, prioritizing scalable, reliable, maintainable capabilities
• ▹Collaborate closely with platform engineering and cross-functional engineering/design teams
• ▹Understand the whole developer experience at Honeycomb and support it with platform fundamentals
• ▹Build relationships and facilitate technical conversations across the company, including Marketing, Sales and Customer Success
• ▹Empathetically understand users and advocate for their best interests in the product
• ▹Take stakeholder guidance as the basis for chartering product discovery
• ▹Contribute to a community of practice among fellow Product Managers

Requirements

• ▹Proactive, curious problem solver with a data-informed approach
• ▹Thoughtful, clear communicator who gives and receives regular feedback
• ▹Systems thinker able to illustrate the interconnectedness of capabilities, from backend to design system
• ▹Equally comfortable setting a vision and delivering iteratively in small pieces
• ▹Enjoys shepherding product work through its entire lifecycle, from prototype to GA
• ▹Comfortable with ambiguity, values learning before pushing toward a solution
• ▹Comfortable in technically complex spaces, whether from a developer background or technical SaaS experience
• ▹Preferred: experience working in or as a user of tracing, metrics, monitoring or analytics software
