Lead UX Researcher

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead qualitative and quantitative UX research studies that inform product teams' decisions
• ▹Proactively identify, define, and get buy-in for strategic research projects
• ▹Communicate research findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
• ▹Act as a trusted, strategic thought partner for cross-functional leads
• ▹Inform planning and strategy discussions by synthesizing what is known about users, products, and services
• ▹Evolve UX research best practices and improve team processes
• ▹Mentor junior ICs and guide the work of contractors
• ▹Document and communicate research process and results publicly with the Wikimedia community

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of UX research experience within a product organization, with a track record of impactful research in fast-paced environments
• ▹Deep expertise with qualitative methods: interviews, contextual inquiry, diary studies
• ▹Availability for critical meetings between 15:00-19:00 UTC
• ▹Willingness to travel up to four times a year
