Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines processing structured and semi-structured data at high volume
• ▹Write production-grade Python: typed, tested, and deployed through CI/CD
• ▹Build real-time data infrastructure supporting stream processing and low-latency ML inference
• ▹Refactor existing pipelines and datasets to support expanded use cases and greater scalability
• ▹Partner with Data Scientists and Engineering teams to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable data solutions
• ▹Participate in design and code reviews and help raise the team's engineering bar

Requirements

• ▹5+ years building data-intensive applications or backend systems
• ▹High proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals: testing strategy, CI/CD, debugging distributed systems in production
• ▹Expertise in distributed data processing patterns and hands-on experience with big data technologies: Spark, Flink, or similar
• ▹Strong SQL capabilities for complex queries
• ▹Working knowledge of AWS: S3, EC2, Lambda, EMR or equivalents, and experience running your own code in production
• ▹Ability to operate independently, embrace new technologies, and make sound technical decisions
• ▹Solid communication skills in English
