Service Consultant – Engine Room Crew

Responsibilities

• ▹Taking on the SPOC role (rotation and planning within the team)
• ▹Developing the operating concept for the service you are responsible for
• ▹Performing proactive operations tasks from the operating concepts
• ▹Further developing automations
• ▹Processing tickets (customer requests) in the ITSM solution
• ▹Updating operational documentation
• ▹Possible service responsibility for one of: Infrastructure as a Service (virtual machines), Defender Service, Exchange Online, possibly others
• ▹In this role: further developing service delivery based on the associated service description, documenting the "how" in the wiki, defining and creating a handover checklist, further developing the service description with the process owner, further developing and multiplying colleagues' knowledge level, planning and running internal trainings, planning external trainings in coordination with the team

Requirements

• ▹Ability to work from a home office
• ▹Self-organization skills
• ▹Experience in IT operations and with ITSM processes
• ▹Knowledge in Microsoft Azure, M365 and Windows Server
• ▹Structured documentation and concept-development skills
• ▹Experience with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Bicep)
• ▹Teamwork ability and strong communication
• ▹Willingness to share knowledge and conduct trainings

Nice to have

• ▹Microsoft certifications (optional)
