Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Perform both manual and automated testing, contributing equally to test execution and automation development
• ▹Design, implement and maintain automated test cases for regression and new features with the QA Automation team
• ▹Create, execute and maintain manual test plans, test cases and regression suites for each release cycle
• ▹Provide clear, timely testing status updates and participate in release readiness discussions
• ▹Work closely with the Release Manager, Business Analysts, Developers and QA teams for smooth releases
• ▹Analyze issues found during testing, ensuring documentation, prioritization and traceability
• ▹Log, track and verify defects using standard issue-tracking and test management tools
• ▹Participate in customer and stakeholder meetings to share QA insights and clarify requirements
• ▹Perform data validation and test data preparation using MySQL, PostgreSQL and Python scripts

Requirements

• ▹Proven senior-level QA experience with a balanced manual and automated testing background
• ▹Strong understanding of QA processes, test methodologies and SDLC
• ▹Hands-on experience designing and executing manual test cases and regression suites, plus contributing to automation frameworks
• ▹Practical experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar)
• ▹Solid SQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data validation and backend testing
• ▹Working knowledge of Python for test automation, scripting or test data setup
• ▹Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail or Zephyr
• ▹Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to collaborate cross-functionally

• ▹Experience influencing test strategy, improving automation coverage, or mentoring junior QA engineers
