Information Research Assistant (No Experience Needed)

Responsibilities

• ▹Monitor, collect, verify, and update live incident data in assigned regions
• ▹Use multiple real-time sources: Departments of Transportation (DOTs), police and emergency CAD systems, CCTV feeds and GPS data, social media, internal channels
• ▹Validate and cross-check information to ensure reliability
• ▹Update incidents as conditions change (e.g., lanes reopened, cleared)
• ▹Record key details such as cause, effect, location, and direction
• ▹Clear incidents once resolved and confirmed by reliable sources
• ▹Communicate with team members and shift supervisors to clarify data or report issues

Requirements

• ▹University degree or student in the final year (with ability to work a fixed shift: 12:00-17:00)
• ▹Strong Intermediate English or higher
• ▹Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• ▹Comfortable working in a real-time, data-driven environment

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with mapping tools or transportation/traffic data
