Junior PM and Growth Engineer (with Computer Science Background)

Responsibilities

• ▹Execute the product roadmap alongside the CPO, coordinating departments and tracking milestones
• ▹Act as a liaison between product, engineering, marketing and customer support
• ▹Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors and user feedback
• ▹Define product requirements with engineering and design, and oversee feature quality
• ▹Monitor product performance metrics and report regularly
• ▹Support the experimentation process; code, analyze and work across all growth workstreams
• ▹Peer-review growth code and experiment analyses, and assist in code review
• ▹Assist with experiment launches on Google Firebase
• ▹Debug code with the product development team and QA new features before release
• ▹Own the translation of winning experiments into other languages and platforms, end to end

Requirements

• ▹Background in software engineering
• ▹Strong confidence in JSON and Java or JavaScript
• ▹Comfort with statistical significance and common types of statistical bias
• ▹Understanding of the basics of good experimental design
• ▹Passion for growth, metrics and an outstanding user experience
• ▹Data-driven, analytical mindset

Nice to have

• ▹SQL
• ▹Interest in behavioral science
• ▹Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, engineering or another technical major, or related work experience
• ▹Has designed and run A/B or RCT trials
• ▹Data science background
• ▹Background or interest in ML
