Responsibilities

• ▹Install database software.
• ▹Schedule and install security patches.
• ▹Create new databases.
• ▹Implement and regularly test database backup scenarios.
• ▹Monitor key database parameters to ensure service continuity.
• ▹Migrate databases to other hardware or versions.
• ▹Create test and development environments.
• ▹Recover databases after hardware or OS failures.
• ▹Resolve the consequences of database incidents.
• ▹Analyze critical database messages.
• ▹Advise and assist database users: query optimization, performance, object structure, admin-level tasks.

Requirements

• ▹Higher technical education.
• ▹At least 2 years of experience with Oracle DBMS: installation, backup, configuration.
• ▹Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• ▹Experience with server operating systems: Linux, Windows.

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with MS SQL DBMS.
• ▹Willingness to learn MS SQL administration.
