Responsibilities

• ▹Developing, scaling, and optimizing advanced Deep Learning models for large-scale personalization solutions
• ▹Structuring and optimizing data pipelines (SOR/SOT) using AWS resources (Glue, EMR, S3)
• ▹Leading experimentation strategies: planning, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and uplift modeling
• ▹Turning digital data and user behavior into actionable intelligence to support strategic business decisions
• ▹Acting as a technical reference and mentor for the team, promoting best practices in modeling, experimentation, and data engineering
• ▹Implementing or optimizing digital tracking and measurement solutions (Snowplow, Google Analytics, or similar)
• ▹Ensuring the quality, monitoring, and sustainability of models in production environments (CI/CD and Terraform)

Requirements

• ▹Advanced proficiency in Python, including frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ML libraries
• ▹Solid experience with Spark for distributed processing of large-scale data
• ▹Advanced SQL for handling, extracting, and analyzing large data volumes
• ▹Hands-on experience with AWS services for Data Science (Glue, EMR, S3)
• ▹Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices for deployment automation
• ▹Solid knowledge of recommendation systems, generative models, and causal inference/experimentation frameworks

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with MLOps for full automation of the model lifecycle and governance
• ▹Knowledge of FinOps principles for cost and performance optimization in cloud/multi-cloud architectures
• ▹Experience with monitoring and observability tools for models in production
• ▹Experience with projects focused on data privacy and security (LGPD/GDPR)
• ▹Ability to present complex technical results to non-specialist audiences and business stakeholders
• ▹Publishing technical articles or speaking at talks on Deep Learning/Data Science
