Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement end-to-end data architectures: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse
• ▹Define and standardize data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes (ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines)
• ▹Establish robust data models: dimensional, Data Vault, relational
• ▹Ensure data quality, traceability, and lineage across the entire chain
• ▹Select and evaluate data tools and platforms suited to the client context
• ▹Define data governance policies: roles, responsibilities, lifecycle, and classification
• ▹Implement data catalogs and technical documentation for models and processes
• ▹Ensure the security, privacy, and regulatory compliance of data assets
• ▹Lead and mentor Data Engineering teams, guiding their technical growth
• ▹Participate in hiring and onboarding for technical data roles
• ▹Manage technical priorities in coordination with product and business teams
• ▹Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
• ▹Present solutions and progress to non-technical stakeholders
• ▹Proactively identify improvement opportunities and new data use cases
• ▹Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and functional teams to ensure solution fit

Requirements

• ▹8+ years in data roles, including at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership
• ▹Progressive career path: Data Engineer / BI Developer -> Lead / Architect
• ▹Proven experience on projects across multiple industries or complex environments
• ▹Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
• ▹Dimensional, relational, and Data Vault data modeling
• ▹Data engineering: pipelines, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming processing
• ▹Cloud platforms (at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• ▹Relational and non-relational databases
• ▹BI and visualization tools
• ▹Data governance and quality
• ▹Advanced SQL and Python (required)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in data consulting or working with end clients is a valued plus
• ▹Familiarity with DevOps practices / code versioning
