Senior Product Designer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design products end-to-end, from definition through development and optimization
• ▹Iterate on prototypes at all fidelity levels, informed by user research, market trends and business goals
• ▹Communicate and share work in written, verbal and visual form to align stakeholders
• ▹Collaborate closely with engineers to ship high-quality experiences
• ▹Contribute to Automattic products and the wider open-source and design community

Requirements

• ▹Experience with consumer products, remote work, WordPress, e-commerce or site editors
• ▹Strong ability to identify user needs and translate them into clear, detailed design solutions
• ▹Comfortable designing at both low and high fidelity
• ▹Ability to integrate feedback and iterate on products with customers and support teams in mind
• ▹Ability to balance business strategy and technical constraints in design solutions
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ▹Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with product development cycles
• ▹Strong UI and visual design skills with a portfolio demonstrating craft
• ▹Familiarity with or openness to remote work

Nice to have

• ▹Experience integrating AI tools, automation and code-assisted workflows into the design process
