Responsibilities

• ▹Lead a Python development team, aligning on goals, quality and delivery timelines
• ▹Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth
• ▹Drive engineering excellence through best practices in coding, architecture and testing
• ▹Plan and manage team capacity, sprints and milestones for predictable delivery
• ▹Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects and Product Owners
• ▹Ensure effective adoption of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• ▹Contribute to the evolution of development processes, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• ▹Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of commercial software development experience
• ▹2+ years leading Scrum teams with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies
• ▹Strong technical expertise in Python and object-oriented programming
• ▹Experience with the .NET ecosystem
• ▹Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs and message queues such as RabbitMQ
• ▹Proficiency in Test Driven Development, unit, integration and acceptance testing
• ▹Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL such as MSSQL, MongoDB, plus Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
• ▹Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
