Responsibilities

• ▹Drive the long-term evolution and technical strategy of the Document Domain, balancing product needs, scalability, reliability, and developer experience
• ▹Champion AI-driven development workflows, mentoring engineers and improving engineering organization productivity
• ▹Lead cross-team initiatives to deliver best-in-class document capabilities while aligning architecture and practices

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of development experience with Python
• ▹Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, migrations, optimization), message queues (RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka), event-driven systems, DDD fundamentals, asynchronous programming
• ▹Fluency with AI workflows for development to leverage productivity
• ▹Mentoring other engineers for their tech growth
• ▹Experience working on domain strategy, identifying challenges and planning a one-year horizon
• ▹Good understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis to deployment and monitoring
• ▹Extensive hands-on application development experience
• ▹Clear technical communication in English, verbally and in writing, across engineering teams

Nice to have

• ▹Team tech stack: a Django monolith with a microservice fleet, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, NATS, AsyncIO, Grafana monitoring stack (Loki, Tempo, Mimir)
