Responsibilities

• ▹Prototype AI-native ideas in code, fast
• ▹Ship production-grade Growth surfaces: layout, interaction, motion, accessibility, performance
• ▹Define what "good" looks like when shipping with AI through reviews and reusable patterns
• ▹Extend AI-enabled tools, processes, and prompt libraries for the team
• ▹Pioneer the Design Engineer function at PandaDoc, owning work end to end

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience across design and front-end engineering, with a portfolio of shipped work
• ▹Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and an animation library (Framer Motion, React Spring, or similar)
• ▹Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily workflow
• ▹An eye for spotting and fixing bottlenecks in design and engineering workflows
• ▹Comfort building from zero and setting direction without a template
